4everLSU,
Man, I have been trying to post some comments on your blog for two nights now. This [expletive deleted] computer at work will not let me post to your site. Everytime I'm at home I check your site with every intention of posting something when my addled ADD mind wanders to the Aint it Cool News website. Sorry, dude. One day I'll actually be able to regularly update my page as well as comment on others. I hope you enjoy the game this weekend. I know I will in the big T-Town.
BTW, the Al-Jazeera microphone on your media post was great. Keep it up!

If you want a good burger, try Mugshots on Greensboro Avenue in downtown Tuscaloosa. Get close to the bar since they have a very big screen TV.
Bob Baumhower's Wings Sports Grille is another good place for tv viewing. He played for Bama and the undefeated dolphins, so you should see a ton of gear from those two teams. The wings are good, although they are a little small.
If you like more established national chains, Buffalo Wild Wings on McFarland Blvd. has more than enough TVs for you to gaze at.
If you want to get some tailgating action, try heading towards The Quad on campus. This is where most of the tailgaters go. There should be a large screen set up at the soccer stadium, although I don't know if that is any good or not.
If you want a good, but pricey steak, try 12 Steakhouse. Kenny Stabler used to own that place (he was #12). It's on "The Strip" which is technically University Blvd. Your wallet might take a hit.
Buffalo Phil's is also on the strip, closer to campus than 12. It's an affordable and cheap sports bar for college kids who don't have a ton of cash. It's old, but they have decent food. It should be packed on gameday.
Steamers is a place just across the Black Warrior River you can see downtown Tuscaloosa from there) that serves great seafood. I don't think I saw any TVs in there, but if you like seafood it's probably the best place in town to go visit.
Dreamland is probably the best known BBQ place in Tuscaloosa. There are two locations, the new one next to Steamers, and the old one on 5535 15th Avenue East. The new one should have a few TVs, and the old one probably does as well. They serve good ribs, although the Northport one actually has more for you to choose from if you want something else. It's more of a tourist restaurant because of it's reputation. Locals enjoy it, but the place is always so crowded on the weekends it just isn't worth it for us.
Go visit www.tuscaloosarestaurant.com if you want to find addresses and reviews. Enjoy your trip!
Don't delete your expletives, then...Teh Interwebs loves them some digital wordy dirds now and then. Thanks for you accolades. We apologize we haven't been posting as much, but when work contains the words "off sho'" and "civil servant" in an election year, work is hectic, and the last thing you want to see when you get home is a computer. Hell, at this point, I'm tempted to post my digits for you to call me for tech support. But running a State Agency keeps me from choosing sides.
We empathize with your not being able to update the site, but we'll still be a true subscriber. We're kinda' in the same predicament, and can't fault you. Bama will be an emotional game...and I'll be the first to say that I hope LSU fans aren't disappointed in their second loss of the season. With the media hyping this up, and Miles somewhat losing focus on games Sportswriters tag as crucial...this game kinda' scares us...much more than even Florida did.
Keep up the good fight, True Believer...you'll always have one faithful reader. Geaux Tigers.
